This quantitative increase in the working class could prove to be a substantial advantage if the more decisive factors of revolutionary consciousness and revolutionary organizations to lead the struggle develops.
While seeking to learn from the history of class struggle, particularly in the twentieth century, the working class of every nation has nothing to lose but their chains if they can only unite in a rational class conscious strategy to achieve working class rule, a rule that is not founded on wage slavery.
Nor should broad overgeneralizations be made about the class struggle without the evidence and arguments to support them. We cannot predict the nature of any particular revolutionary struggle by looking at history as a template or a a pattern that inevitably unfolds in the same or similar ways.
We can say with substantial confidence that there has never been a more opportune time for world wide proletarian revolution.
Working class revolutionaries and their allies must struggle for substantial unity even between those who may think differently about some things such as those who may identify themselves as anarchists and those who think of themselves a communists.
One of the most urgent goals is to see that backward working class elements must be better educated so they are able to raise their consciousness and see their objective rational interest in working class rule.
Crucially, the contradiction between progressive revolutionary working class ideologies and working class based fascisms is always an antagonistic one. Similarly any narrow national chauvinism that oppresses other nations is in contradiction to the goals of the proletarian revolution. Fascism, militarism and the capitalist class itself are the major threats to the development of a liberated working class society.
In a similar vein liberation theology based revolutionaries are often more progressive that some so-called socialists or communists. This is not to say that reactionary religion, reactionary pseudo communisms or anarchisms should be tolerated or exempt from revolutionary overthrow.
Of course the transition to socialism, communism and anarchism is going to be made by human beings according to their understandings and deeds. It is impossible to predict how this will unfold but many initiatives have been made in the history of the working class and many more models and possibilities remain to be explored, not only in one nation but in all the nations of the world. Remember, the world wide working class must rule, somehow, some way and in a very progressive way otherwise screw the whole thing, eh?
That is to say we don't want fascism or false revolutionary ideologies of the working class that lead the workers back into wage slavery or worse.
